ElectroTech
They have core competence in the fields of electro-mechanics, instrumentation and electronics.
They make products which enable safe transport and application of electric current in potentially explosive atmospheres.
This business area is made up of companies Technor AS, Technor Safe Ex AS , Technor ISIS Technor Atex, Technor Italsmea, Technor do Brasil and Technor Middle East.
They develop and manufacture products and systems which make it possible to safely use instruments, lights, motors and other equipment requiring elec-tric power in potentially explosive atmospheres. These might be offshore oil installations, refi neries, petrochemical plants, ships or FPSOs, or in other industries in which dust explosion might represent a hazard, such as the cement industry, foodstuffs manufacture or grain silos. The products they devel-op must satisfy the requirements of the joint European standards (ATEX regulations) and each individ-ual component and the systems we build must be certified in accordance with specifi c Ex certifi cation requirements. The products they develop are techno-logically advanced and they based their strategies on a combination of new technology and appropriate competence in order to develop functional, safe and cost effective solutions for the challenges of tomorrow.
FlowTech
They have core competence in the fields of materials and flow technology.
They make products which contribute to the safe manufacture, transport and storage og explosive and flammable fluids and LNG.
This business area is made up of companies Technor Valves & Automation, SNRI, Technor Malbranque, SNRI Services og Westad Industri.
They develop and manufacture valves for a wide range of applications, but their main strength is in cryogenic valves for the LNG industry. LNG main-tains a temperature of –162°C and this makes extreme demands on materials quality and func-tionality on the valves we develop. Within the area of gate, globe and check valves for LNG ships Tech-nor, through it’s subsidiary company SNRI, is the world leader. They also have valves which handle the combination of high pressure and low temperatures and well-head valves for complex gas wells with a signifi cant element of corrosive substances.
