ELYgator Project – Air Liquide
Multidisciplinary supply of ATEX-certified safety solutions for the hydrogen industry
The challenge
Air Liquide’s ELYgator project is an important initiative in the development of green hydrogen. The project required the reliable supply of a range of industrial safety products for an environment where potentially explosive atmospheres may occur.
The main challenge for Dexter was the multidisciplinary nature of the assignment. In addition to ATEX-certified lighting, the scope included ATEX-certified alarm and signalling equipment. Different disciplines, technical specifications and project-specific requirements had to be carefully aligned.
Our
approach
To support the successful execution of the project, Dexter thoroughly reviewed various scopes of work, technical specifications and tender documents. A clear understanding of the requirements was essential to ensure the correct interpretation of the technical criteria and the selection of suitable products.
The project also involved multiple points of contact across several companies. Through close cooperation, timely discussions of technical matters and effective communication between all stakeholders, Dexter helped streamline the coordination process and support an efficient project execution.
Another key challenge was the demanding project schedule. All equipment had to be delivered on time and in accordance with the agreed planning. This required clear communication, careful coordination and close cooperation with our manufacturing partners.
The result
By combining technical expertise, a multidisciplinary approach and a strong focus on planning, Dexter supported the diverse requirements of the ELYgator project.
