Wireless CCTV system at Brunei Shell

 

At Brunei Shell, Dexter developed a system for central plant observation. The idea was to connect a total of 5 Ex and 4 Non Ex wireless cameras to a central IP system.

This tank storage location did not have a TCP/IP structure yet. Building a new, wireless system would therefore be the best approach to fulfil the client’s requirements. Working together with the local integrator, Brunei Shell purchased a number of Dexcam WiFi 16 models that were programmed and set to the desired radio frequencies. Today the system is fully operational and entirely meets the required specifications. To name just one spectacular feature: the most remote camera maintains a wireless connection over more than 1,5 kilometres!
