DEX30 Ex PTZ Dome Camera now available with integrated 40x optical zoom Axis Q6075DEX30_pm_kl.jpeg
DEX30 is our top-of-the-line explosion proof PTZ network dome camera. Utilizing the Axis Q6075, it offers a rich viewing experience with HDTV 1080p, 40x optical and 12x digital zoom and fast and precise pan/tilt performance for great overview and excellent detail.
DEX30 features endless 360° pan, enhanced intelligent video and shock detection. It is ideal for refineries, FPSO vessels, drilling rigs, offshore platforms and other explosive risk environments.
DEX30 comes either in an anodized marine grade alloy or a stainless steel 316L housing, making this range of cameras suitable for both onshore and offshore industry. DEX30 is certified for zone 1/21 and zone 2/22 use and is designed to be ATEX and IECEx approved for Gas and Dust (IP 66).

A main innovation has been the fitting of an integrated Exe termination chamber, which makes connecting this device a relatively simple affair. In order for the unit to function in extreme conditions, it is fitted with intelligent humidity and temperature control, allowing it to operate in a temperature range of -20° C to +50° Celsius.
There are several cost-effective ways of powering DEX30: direct power over Ethernet plus (PoE++) or the integrated 24VDC, 230/110 VAC PSU make the use of an additional PSU junction box unnecessary. DEX30 is also available with an integrated single or multimode FO module for direct connectivity to fibre optic network infrastructures. IP over Coax is also available for backward compatibility.

DEXCAM Thermal Imaging Cameras
DEX31-TH_TXT.png
During our long history of being a supplier and manufacturer of Hazardous Area cameras, we came across many thermal imaging camera applications.
Such applications include flange leakage in ammonia pipelines, condensate leakage offshore, flare monitoring, Oil Spill Detection (OSD) or hotspot detection in process environments.

Today we see the need for thermal imaging cameras growing as part of a complete monitoring system.
Sometimes the thermal imaging camera is part of a CCTV intruder alarm system.
The thermal camera will easily detect if someone is intruding an industrial site at night and will give an output to CCTV cameras for further identification.

Sometimes a thermal imaging camera can be part of a complete fast and reliable early detection system for sites such as chemical loading systems near residential areas.
In this kind of application, specially designed software can make the thermal camera more intelligent, making it more capable of detecting chemical leakages.

After a leakage has been detected, it is possible to set up a warning alarm.

A thermal imaging camera is an excellent solution for Oil Spill Detection (OSD) in water, because oil spills can be detected day and night; with hardly any effects from solar reflection, smoke and dust in comparison to visual imaging cameras.

Dexter’s Expertise is the customisation of Thermal Imaging Cameras, so they are optimised for use in Gas or Dust Explosive Hazardous areas.

For either Offshore or fine chemical environments, Dexter is your reliable partner with years of experience.
